Update Time: 12-21-11

Over the past weekend Polian had a meeting and we accomplished a lot. I don’t really understand the full extent of what was accomplished because my job was simply to make sure Alex, Ben and Ian were organized, well fed, and on task. Our main goals starting out were to finish sound, GUI, and symbols and metaphors (all ongoing tasks from weren’t quite finished up).

At the end of the weekend Alex got GUI working but he needs to make a new specific one. Ben was able to get sound working which is awesome since he’s been working on it since October. Ian worked on Polian’s tumblr and twitter networking. I think he worked on Symbols and metaphors as well, but I’m not sure since he had to leave a bit early. I worked on a new blog post and scheduled blogs and another meeting soon.

I was amazed at how on task everyone was, I had provided legos to play with if we wanted a break, but Alex, Ben and Ian  were so devoted that they never played with them. Ben, Alex and I did go for a walk and got to help decorate a neighborhood Christmas tree. My apologies for no pictures, I forgot that I had to charge the camera. Hopefully at our next meeting I’ll be more on top of it.

I’m feeling pretty good about where Polian is, and we hope that before all of us have to return to school we can have all the pre-production work finished to still release verge as scheduled at the end of summer 2012.
